Assisted Living Basics
- Assisted living provides personalized support with daily activities—like bathing, dressing, and medication management—while promoting independence and social connection. Unlike a nursing home, assisted living residents do not require 24-hour skilled medical care.
If your loved one struggles with daily tasks, forgets medications, feels isolated, or has safety concerns at home, it may be time to consider assisted living. Our compassionate team at Paradise Pointe can help guide your decision. Schedule a consultation by clicking here
Our monthly rate includes personalized care, chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, and a full calendar of activities—all with 24-hour staff support. View our amenities and services
An Extended Congregate Care (ECC) license is a higher level of assisted living licensure that allows a community to provide enhanced medical care and 24/7 nursing support for residents with increased needs. At Paradise Pointe, this license ensures that residents can receive higher levels of care immediately if their health needs change. Learn more about our license here

Our team is happy to provide a full breakdown during your personalized tour.
- A community fee is a one-time, upfront charge that helps cover the costs of moving into an assisted living or memory care community. At Paradise Pointe, this fee contributes to preparing your new apartment, administrative processing, and access to our full range of amenities and services. It is separate from the monthly care and rent fees, and it ensures that residents can move in smoothly and start enjoying life in our community right away.
- A care fee is the portion of your monthly cost that covers the personalized assistance you receive at Paradise Pointe. This includes help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, mobility, and other individualized support. The care fee is based on your level of need, so each resident pays only for the services they require.
- Our care team works closely with families to ensure that care plans are tailored to each resident’s lifestyle and health needs. This fee is separate from your rental fee for your apartment and any optional services, such as salon visits or boutique purchases.

Care & Safety
- At Paradise Pointe, resident health and safety are our top priorities. Our community holds an Extended Congregate Care (ECC) license, a higher level of assisted living licensure that requires licensed nurses on staff 24/7. In addition, medication technicians (Med Techs) are available around the clock to ensure timely and accurate medication management. We work with a team of physicians and nurse practitioners who oversee care plans, coordinate with outside healthcare providers, and ensure each resident receives personalized, high-quality medical support whenever it’s needed.
- At Paradise Pointe, resident safety is our top priority. In addition to our Extended Congregate Care (ECC) license, which requires 24/7 licensed nursing staff, we utilize CarePredict—an advanced AI-powered digital health platform. This system employs a smart wearable device, Tempo™, to monitor daily activity patterns and detect early signs of health concerns such as urinary tract infections, depression, and fall risks. When deviations from normal activity are detected, CarePredict alerts our staff, enabling timely interventions and reducing hospitalizations by up to 39% and falls by 69%.
- Our nurses are on-site 24/7 to provide care and support. They manage medications, coordinate with physicians, assist with appointments (on-site or off-site), and perform routine assessments and procedures. Using advanced technology, they monitor residents’ health for early changes, respond to emergencies, and ensure each resident receives personalized, high-quality care.
