Paradise Pointe is proudly nurse-owned and operated, led by Darlinda Copeland, RN, MHA, CEO. With over 35 years of healthcare experience, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of a local hospital, Darlinda brings unparalleled expertise in patient-centered care, healthcare administration, and operational excellence.
As a registered nurse, she is dedicated to researching best practices, innovative technologies, and evidence-based care to ensure every resident receives the highest quality of care. Her personal experience caring for her elderly mother and father has fueled her passion for creating a community where seniors are treated with dignity, respect, and individualized attention, and where life is purposeful, engaging, and meaningful.
When developing Paradise Pointe, Darlinda collaborated closely with local physicians, healthcare professionals, and community business leaders who shared her vision for a new kind of senior living — one deeply rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and local values. Together, they designed a community that reflects the heart of Ormond Beach: neighborly, connected, and focused on helping every resident live well. This partnership makes Paradise Pointe truly locally owned and operated, built by people who live and serve right here in the community.

- Executive Director – Oversees daily operations and ensures seamless resident experiences.
- Director of Nursing – Leads our clinical care team and ensures every resident receives personalized, high-quality healthcare. The Director of Nursing oversees care planning, medication management, and staff training to maintain excellence in resident well-being and safety.
- Sales Manager – Guides families through the transition to assisted living or memory care with clarity and compassion.
- Business Manager – Maintains the financial and operational integrity of Paradise Pointe to ensure the highest standard of care.
