Residents of Paradise Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care came together to give back in a meaningful way, creating “Puppy Love Treat Bags” in honor of National Puppy Day on March 23.
During a special “Made with Meagan” activity, residents decorated treat bags with stickers of playful puppies and heartfelt notes, then filled them with rope chew toys, tennis balls, dental sticks, and dog treats. The bags were thoughtfully prepared for the animals at Halifax Humane Society, spreading joy from one generation to another—even if the recipients have four legs and wagging tails.
Paradise Pointe CEO Darlinda Copeland and Marketing Director Meagan Arrington delivered the donation to the shelter on April 3. Halifax Humane Society CEO Sean Hawkins said the treat bags were gifted to families that adopted pets, making the moment even more special.
