Paradise Pointe originated from a “daughter’s love” for her mother and father. Darlinda Copeland, RN, BSN, MHA and CEO and Administrator of Paradise Pointe, was looking for local options in assisted living for her parents, Barbara and Don, but she just couldn’t find “the one”.
After careful consideration, paired with her extensive background and experience in hospital administration, she had a vision to create her own piece of Paradise where her parents could live, but also, other seniors in our community.
The Beginnings: A Vision of Compassionate Care
Darlinda met with various local physicians and community leaders to join her vision to build a place that was different. A place that provided high-quality, compassionate care that they would be proud to own, operate and provide as a home for their mothers, fathers, families and friends right here in Ormond Beach.
Paradise Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care opened its doors to its first resident on February 14, 2023 and has become a cornerstone of compassionate care for seniors.
